LISI Group: Sustained Organic Growth and Financial Objectives Achieved in 2023
The LISI group announced an organic growth of 15.5% for the second consecutive year, thus achieving its financial goals for the year 2023. With a turnover of 1,630.4 million euros, up by 14.4% compared to 2022, and an EBIT of 90.7 million euros, slightly up by 1.6 million euros from the previous year, the group demonstrates its strength across its three business sectors. The growth was driven by an increase in selling prices as well as exceptional performances from the LISI AUTOMOTIVE and LISI MEDICAL divisions. Despite inflationary pressure, the company anticipates an improvement in its key indicators, particularly the EBIT and Free Cash Flow, for the coming year.
The LISI board of directors emphasized the importance of innovation and industrial investments made in recent years, allowing the group to consistently display positive organic growth and strengthen its position in growth markets. LISI AEROSPACE continues to benefit from the ramp-up in production of monocoque aircraft, while LISI AUTOMOTIVE shows record growth driven by the development of new products for the electromobility market. LISI MEDICAL, on the other hand, stands out with growth exceeding 20% for the second consecutive year, supported by the successful launch of new products.
The group plans to capitalize on the positive momentum in its various markets while improving its key financial indicators in an environment where inflationary pressure is expected to ease. Despite an uncertain global context, LISI's results for 2023 demonstrate the resilience and adaptability of the group in the face of economic challenges.
