Lonza Group AG Announces Outcomes of 2024 Annual General Meeting

On May 8, 2024, Lonza Group AG conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Basel, Switzerland, where Jean-Marc Huët was elected as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors. The shareholders approved all motions proposed by the board, including the re-election of all board members eligible for another term. These members include Marion Helmes, Angelica Kohlmann, Christoph Mäder, Roger Nitsch, Barbara Richmond, Jürgen Steinemann, and Olivier Verscheure.

Deloitte Ltd, based in Zurich, was re-appointed as the auditor for the 2025 financial year. A significant decision made during the AGM was the approval of a CHF 4.00 per share dividend, set to be paid from May 15, 2024. Notably, 50% of this dividend will be distributed from the capital contribution reserves and is exempt from Swiss withholding tax.
