Loop Industries to Supply Taro Plast with Recycled DMT
Loop Industries has entered into an offtake agreement with Taro Plast to supply Loop™ DMT, made entirely from recycled content, from its upcoming Infinite Loop™ India facility. This facility is projected to become operational in early 2028. Taro Plast, known for its sustainability efforts, plans to use Loop's DMT in automotive and specialty polymer applications.
The partnership underscores Taro Plast's commitment to sustainable solutions and supports Loop's expansion into the high-demand specialty polymers market. Independent tests confirm that Loop's DMT meets Taro Plast's high standards of purity and performance. As part of a joint venture with Ester Industries, the Infinite Loop™ India plant aims to produce 70,000 tonnes of PET resin annually.
