LOTTO24 AG Achieves Double-Digit Revenue Growth from Lotteries in 2023

Hamburg, 17 July 2024. LOTTO24 AG, a subsidiary of ZEAL Network SE, reported a significant increase in its financial results for 2023. Billings rose by 16.7% to € 885.0 million, while lottery revenue increased by 10.8% to € 115.4 million. The company also launched online games, further solidifying its market leadership.

Chief Financial Officer Andrea Behrendt highlighted the brand's success in generating a high number of winners and increasing market share to 41.4%. Despite higher marketing expenses, EBITDA grew by 28.8% to € 33.0 million.

LOTTO24 AG gained 597 thousand new customers, although the total was lower compared to last year due to fewer large jackpots. The company's investment in brand development and TV advertising contributed to this success.

Looking ahead, LOTTO24 AG aims to enhance its market leadership in 2024 with projected revenues of € 267 million to € 277 million and an EBITDA of € 40 million to € 45 million. The Annual General Meeting on August 27 will discuss various proposals, including a squeeze-out of minority shareholders by main shareholder ZEAL Network SE.
