M1 Kliniken AG Nearly Doubles Operating Profit in H1 2024

M1 Kliniken AG reported significant growth in the first half of 2024, with operating profit (EBIT) nearly doubling. The group's consolidated sales rose by 11.2% to EUR 167.7 million, while EBIT surged by 98.8% to EUR 14.5 million. This strong performance also saw earnings per share rise from EUR 0.17 to EUR 0.53.

In the Beauty segment, sales increased by 30.6% to EUR 48.6 million, and EBIT grew by 24.3% to EUR 10.1 million, maintaining an EBIT margin of 20.8%. The trading segment also contributed positively, with sales rising to EUR 119.2 million and segment EBIT improving to EUR 4.4 million.

CEO Attila Strauss indicated continued strong performance and expansion plans, with aims to develop 150 to 200 specialist medical centres by 2029. Interest from private equity firms was noted, but the company's focus remains on independent growth.
