Major Discovery in Usha Resources Ltd's White Willow Lithium Project

Usha Resources Ltd. has announced the completion of Phase 3 of its program on the White Willow lithium pegmatite project, located 170 km west of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Over a span of 10 weeks, 727 samples were collected, revealing an extension of the LCT pegmatite trend to over 27 km. Fractionation indicators suggest spodumene-type mineralization at Bingo and Maple Leaf.

Usha Resources CEO, Deepak Varshney, expresses excitement over the promising results, foreseeing a significant advancement in identifying new targets for the planned initial drilling program in spring 2024. Top sample results show up to 0.5% Li2O, underscoring the significance of the White Willow project in Ontario's lithium discovery.

Furthermore, lithochemical analyses unveil anomalies in lithium, cesium, and rubidium, indicating the presence of a lithium-enriched system. The Bingo pegmatites exhibit textures similar to spodumene-containing pegmatites in Ontario, signaling high potential for buried spodumene mineralizations.

The company plans to follow up on these findings with a 4,000-meter drilling program in spring 2024, testing both newly identified and previously identified targets for the first time. This advancement is supported by a rigorous quality assurance and control protocol, ensuring the reliability of the analyses.
