Major Reorganization of the Executive Board at Deutsche Lufthansa AG
Deutsche Lufthansa AG has announced a significant reorganization of its Executive Board, reducing the number of members from six to five. This decision, effective on June 30, 2024, marks the departure of Christina Foerster, Harry Hohmeister, and Detlef Kayser from the Board. Remco Steenbergen, the Chief Financial Officer, will also step down from his position at the end of the Annual General Meeting on May 7, 2024.
Starting July 1, 2024, Grazia Vittadini will join the Executive Board as Chief Technology Officer, and Dieter Vranckx will take over "Global Markets and Commercial Management." Michael Niggemann, currently responsible for "Human Resources and Infrastructure," will temporarily assume the financial function starting on May 8, 2024, in addition to his current responsibilities.
