Mako Mining Intersects High-Grade Gold and Silver at Las Conchitas
Mako Mining Corp. has provided updates on its reverse circulation (RC) drill program at the Las Conchitas area, south of the San Albino gold mine. The 2024 campaign covers 244 drill holes totaling 15,314 meters, aiming to test extensions beyond the current mineral resource estimate (MRE).
Key results from Las Dolores include 37.80 g/t Au and 50.0 g/t Ag over 2.8m ETW, 34.10 g/t Au and 29.4 g/t Ag over 0.9m ETW, 16.77 g/t Au and 32.5 g/t Ag over 2m ETW, and 16.56 g/t Au and 12.8 g/t Ag over 1.9m ETW.
El Limon and Mango zones also showed promising results, including 11.25 g/t Au and 18.3 g/t Ag over 3.0m ETW, and 9.83 g/t Au and 20.4 g/t Ag over 4.0m ETW.
CEO Akiba Leisman highlights the drilling program's success in identifying expansions of high-grade zones. The generated cash flow from operations supports ongoing exploration without requiring external financing.
