Manfred Knof is leaving Commerzbank at the end of the month
Commerzbank AG's CEO, Manfred Knof, will step down on September 30, 2024. This decision was agreed upon with the Supervisory Board. Bettina Orlopp, current Deputy CEO, will succeed him.
Jens Weidmann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, acknowledged Knof’s contributions. Weidmann noted Knof’s role in stabilizing the bank during challenging times and aligning its strategy with customer and investor needs. Weidmann praised Knof’s commitment to the bank's social responsibility and employees’ interests.
