Marcel Imwinkelried Appointed as New CEO of Siegfried AG

The Board of Directors of Siegfried Holding AG has appointed Marcel Imwinkelried as the new CEO effective from September 1, 2024. He will succeed Reto Suter, who has been the interim CEO since May 1, 2024, and will now return to his role as CFO.

Marcel Imwinkelried joined the Siegfried Group in January 2021 and has held significant roles, including Multi-Site Head for several Drug Products sites and Chief Operating Officer Drug Products since October 2021. Before his tenure at Siegfried, Imwinkelried worked for Novartis in various senior positions starting from 2005.

Andreas Casutt, Chairman of the Board, praised Imwinkelried's professional track record and leadership skills. Casutt expressed confidence that under Imwinkelried’s leadership, Siegfried would continue its growth trajectory.
