Markus Lesser Joins H2APEX Group's Supervisory Board

H2APEX Group SCA has appointed Markus Lesser as a new member of its Supervisory Board following the departure of Prof. Dr. Matthias Beller. Beller stepped down at the end of 2024 to concentrate on his research endeavors, but remains an advisor, particularly to H2APEX's subsidiary, AKROS, working on chemical hydrogen storage.

Markus Lesser brings over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, having significantly advanced PNE AG, first as COO, then as CEO. Roland Lienau, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, expressed confidence in Lesser's expertise for propelling H2APEX's growth in green hydrogen in Germany.

Lesser acknowledges hydrogen as vital for CO2-free energy and is eager to support H2APEX's next growth phase. Beller collaborates with the Leibniz Institute for Catalysis, aiding H2APEX's innovations in hydrogen storage.
