MEDICLIN Herzzentrum Coswig Changes Hands to Johannesstift Diakonie
On 28 March 2024, MEDICLIN announced the forthcoming transfer of the operation of the MEDICLIN Herzzentrum Coswig to Johannesstift Diakonie, effective from 1 April 2024. This transfer occurs following the fulfillment of all contract conditions related to the sale agreement between the two entities. The signing took place in February, involving key representatives from both organizations.
The MEDICLIN Herzzentrum Coswig, henceforth known as the "Evangelisches Herzzentrum Coswig," will continue serving the region under its new ownership. Dr Joachim Ramming, CEO of MEDICLIN, assured the local staff and community that the level of care and service they have come to expect will remain unchanged. He also expressed his best wishes for the future to the colleagues in Coswig.
The hospital, recognized as an interdisciplinary center for cardiovascular medicine, boasts facilities including clinics for Cardiovascular Surgery, Cardiology and Angiology, and Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine. With its establishment in 1998, it operates with 113 beds and employs approximately 340 staff members.
