MEMSCAP: Review of the first half of 2024
MEMSCAP, a supplier of pressure sensors for the aeronautics and medical sectors, posted consolidated sales of 7,275 thousand euros for the first half of 2024, up 3% compared to 2023. The aeronautics market, sector main, increased by 8%, reaching 4,899 thousand euros. Medical activities experienced a slight decline of 3%, mainly due to a 69% drop in revenues from implantable solutions.
Adjusted EBITDA amounts to 1,410 thousand euros, representing 19% of turnover. Consolidated net profit reaches 992 thousand euros, representing 14% of turnover. Available cash is established at 6,017 thousand euros as of June 30, 2024.
MEMSCAP is intensifying its efforts in the development of the "Engine Control" program and increasing its commercial resources in the medical sector to diversify its applications and customers. The company expects a decrease in operating expenses for the next quarter.
