Meridian Reports New Zones of Mineralization at Cabaçal Project
Meridian Mining UK S (TSX:MNO) has announced significant results from its Cabaçal Cu-Au-Ag project. The latest drill results indicate extensive mineralization, including CD-535 with 21.6m @ 3.1g/t AuEq and CD-529 with 16.1m @ 2.8g/t AuEq within the open pit area.
This analysis highlights structural flexures hosting the majority of the mineralization along a 2km strike. Additionally, new targets have been identified along the 10km Mine Corridor, suggesting potential for further Cu-Au mineralization.
Highlights include CD-535: 21.6m @ 3.1g/t AuEq, CD-534: 25.9m @ 1.4g/t AuEq, CD-529: 16.1m @ 2.8g/t AuEq, and CD-517: 33.4m @ 1.0g/t AuEq. The company plans to advance exploration programs to test these structures.
