Metal Finishing Technologies Announces Acquisition of Aqua Blasting Corp.

Metal Finishing Technologies, LLC (MFT), a leader in metal finishing and coating services, has acquired Aqua Blasting Corp., enhancing its surface treatment capabilities. The Connecticut-based Aqua Blasting is known for its shot peening and blasting services in various markets, including aerospace and defense. This move is the first acquisition under MFT's partnership with Battle Investment Group, aiming to broaden MFT's service offerings.

Aqua Blasting, established in 1971, brings a suite of surface enhancement technologies and certifications to MFT, including FAA and NADCAP accreditations. Its 11,000 square foot facility accommodates large parts, supporting MFT's expansion into non-destructive testing and new plating lines. MFT's leadership sees Aqua Blasting’s integration as a pivotal moment in its evolution, promising improved quality and turnaround times for customers.

Battle Investment Group views the acquisition as a strategic move towards making MFT a comprehensive provider of metal surface treatments. Consolidating services under MFT is expected to offer competitive advantages and attract both existing and new customers.
