MIT REAP Unveils Cohort 12 to Boost Global Innovation-Driven Entrepreneurship

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program (MIT REAP) has announced the start of its twelfth cohort. This year, the program includes regional teams from Benin, Bulgaria, Kano-Jigawa in Nigeria, Northern Parana in Brazil, Yucatan in Mexico, and Zurich, Switzerland.

MIT REAP is designed to support global communities in developing innovation-driven entrepreneurial ecosystems. By linking regional leaders with MIT's expertise, the program aims to accelerate sustainable economic growth and innovation. The initiative admits up to eight regions annually for a two-year engagement. Each regional team consists of 8-12 cross-disciplinary leaders.

The program includes an assessment of regional innovation capacity, strategic design for acceleration, and implementation of impactful programs or policies. This approach positions participating regions to achieve significant economic and social impacts. Cohort 12 strengthens global collaboration by uniting diverse industries and perspectives.
