Moving Worlds: Michael Carter's Road From Law to Literature
Michael Carter has seamlessly transitioned from the legal field to the literary world. With a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from McKinney School of Law, his career spanned over 25 years as a defense attorney specializing in medical malpractice cases. He also held significant roles such as deputy attorney general and chief counsel for the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration.
In 2020, Carter made his literary debut with "In the Belly of the Bell-Shaped Curve," a satirical novel depicting workplace dynamics. His narrative examines ambition and morality, striving to challenge societal norms. Inspired by this success, he commenced work on his second novel, "Unborn Soul."
Carter's work has received numerous accolades, including the Certificate of Excellence in Public Service. Looking ahead, he plans to focus entirely on writing, with discussions underway to adapt his debut novel into a screenplay.
