MRM Health and Biocodex Form Strategic Partnership for CORAL® Medicines
MRM Health and Biocodex have announced a strategic partnership aimed at bolstering the commercial supply capabilities for CORAL®-based medicines. This collaboration merges MRM Health's advanced microbiome science and CORAL® platform with Biocodex's expertise in industrialization and manufacturing.
Biocodex plans a €15 million investment in anaerobic manufacturing infrastructure in Beauvais, France, to support MRM Health’s products from clinical development to potential commercial supply. This initiative will address the future manufacturing needs for MRM Health's live biotherapeutic products, enhancing readiness for pharmaceutical partnerships.
This new facility is set to begin pilot manufacturing by 2027 and aims for commercial-scale operations by 2030. The non-exclusive nature of the partnership maintains MRM Health's flexibility to engage with other manufacturing partners if needed.
