MTM, Inc., a leading non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) broker, announced the launch of its Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) solution, aiming to transform healthcare delivery, especially in rural areas. The MIH model aims to provide comprehensive care directly to individuals, enhancing access to healthcare services. Alaina Macia, MTM's President and CEO, underscored the initiative's focus on improving the healthcare event and member experience, beyond mere transportation.

The MIH model fosters collaboration between EMS, healthcare providers, in-home services, community organizations, and health plans to bring care directly to patients. This approach seeks to reduce hospital readmissions, foster healthier communities, increase access in underserved regions, and close care gaps. MTM's MIH integrates transportation with care services, leveraging partners across EMS and telehealth, aiming to offer a seamless one-stop service for members outside traditional hospital settings.

Supporting this initiative, MTH incorporates the Julota platform, a flexible, secure cloud-based system facilitating interoperable health data management. Julota's CEO, Scott Cravens, highlighted the platform's capability to improve health outcomes through its comprehensive care continuity facilitation. MTM customizes the Julota-powered MIH workflows to meet individual client needs, granting access to real-time data and analysis to optimize care outcomes and reduce costs.

Addressing social determinants of health is also a priority for MTM's MIH solution, aiming to fill service delivery gaps and enhance community wellness.
