Multitude SE: Transfer of Registered Office to Malta Due to be Completed on 30 June 2024
Helsinki, 17 June 2024 – Multitude SE, a listed European FinTech company, announces the transfer of its registered office from Finland to Malta on 30 June 2024. The company serves consumers, small and medium-sized businesses, and other FinTech firms. This move follows the approval from the Extraordinary Shareholders' General Meeting held on 21 March 2024.
The Finnish Trade Register issued its permit for the transfer on 20 May 2024. The company expects all necessary consents and approvals to be in place by the transfer date. The listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange will remain unaffected, and trading will continue without interruptions. A new Maltese ISIN will be applied as of 1 July 2024.
The change will involve shifting the issuer central securities depository from Euroclear Finland Oy to the Malta Stock Exchange Central Securities Depository. Consequently, shares will be held through Clearstream Banking S.A. instead of individual registration with the MSE CSD.
The transfer is part of the company's plan to eventually relocate to Switzerland, followed by a conversion into a public limited liability company governed by Maltese laws.
