Murchison Minerals Identifies High-Grade Mineralization at BMK Deposit

Murchison Minerals Ltd. announced significant discoveries at the BMK VMS Project in Saskatchewan. As part of their 2025 Exploration Program, phase I involved surficial mapping and backpack drilling, revealing high-grade copper-zinc mineralization near the surface. Six holes confirmed this mineralization, though assay results are pending. Phase II, starting in October, will involve diamond drilling to target deposit expansion, utilizing phase I findings. Phase III, concluding in December, will focus on 3D geological modeling to support future campaign planning.

The BMK Project, covering 37 km of the BMK Trend, encompasses 859 km² of mineral claims with multiple VMS showings. Historic resource estimates state over 2 million tonnes of indicated resources with significant copper and zinc content. The project is part of a broader strategy involving recent corporate restructuring and new investment. It's positioned as a critical base metal exploration project in the region. Murchison aims to continue de-risking and advancing the BMK Project in upcoming phases, leveraging new discoveries facilitated by recent ground-clearing forest fires.
