Mutares Completes Acquisition of fischer automotive systems GmbH & Co. KG
Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has finalized its acquisition of fischer automotive systems GmbH & Co. KG from fischerwerke GmbH & Co. KG. The move strengthens Mutares' Automotive & Mobility segment.
Fischer Automotive specializes in kinematic components for vehicle interiors and exteriors. The company operates globally with facilities in Germany, the Czech Republic, Serbia, China, and the USA. It counts major OEMs like Mercedes, Audi, BMW, and Porsche among its clients.
With approximately 1,300 employees, Fischer Automotive is expected to generate revenues of around EUR 200 million in 2024. The company will be renamed Matikon following the acquisition.
In the upcoming months, operational improvements and finalization of stand-alone structures post-carve-out are planned. The focus will be on growth in key markets such as America, China, and Central and Eastern Europe.
