Mutares Completes Tenth Acquisition in 2024
Mutares SE & Co KGaA has finalized the acquisition of KmB Technologie GmbH from EMAG Industrial GmbH and Scherer Holding GmbH. This transaction enhances the FerrAl United Group within the Automotive & Mobility segment. KmB Technologie, located in Zerbst, Germany, reported revenues of around EUR 50 million in 2023.
KmB Technologie manufactures high-quality components such as high-precision turned and milled parts for steering systems, transmissions, and chassis. With approximately 250 employees, the company focuses on both cutting and non-cutting machining technologies. This acquisition is expected to yield synergies in supplier relationships, customer base, and production processes.
Robin Laik, CEO of Mutares, believes that the integration of KmB Technologie will consolidate the group's market presence and unlock growth potential for its companies. The deal marks the first transaction from Mutares' Vienna office in 2024.
