Mutares Expands Management Board

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has decided to expand its Management Board by appointing two new members effective July 1, 2024. Johannes Laumann will return as Chief Investment Officer (CIO), while Dr. Lennart Schley will join as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Laumann, who served on the Management Board from 2019 to 2023, significantly boosted the Group's growth, increasing revenues from EUR 1 billion to EUR 3.5 billion. He will oversee Mutares' M&A activities and internationalization efforts.

Dr. Lennart Schley has nearly 14 years at Mutares, recently managing key subsidiaries. As COO, he will be responsible for the operational management of the company's portfolio companies.

This expansion aims to position the company optimally for its ambitious growth and international expansion plans into China, India, and the USA.
