NAA Announces 2024 International Auctioneering Champions

The National Auction Association (NAA) has revealed the 2024 winners of the International Auctioneer Championship (IAC) and International Junior Auctioneer Championship (IJAC). This year's event was held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on July 26, during the NAA's annual Conference & Show, attracting 79 contestants globally.

Shane McCarrell, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and graduate of Nashville Auction School, secured the Men's Division title. With a background in military service, McCarrell is currently leading Blackwell Realty & Auctions as Director of Auction Operations. Marcela Dávila Diez Gutierrez from Mexico claimed the Women's Division. A bilingual auctioneer, she founded Lucerna Auction, pioneering benefit auctions in Mexico.

Caleb Taylor, a student from Georgia, triumphed in the IJAC. Taylor’s engagement in auctioneering started young, inspired by his father’s career, and is committed to encouraging the next generation of auctioneers.
