NetBurner Introduces New SOMRT1061 System-on-Module for Enhanced IoT Integration

NetBurner's latest innovation, the SOMRT1061 System-on-Module (SOM), has been officially released, offering significant enhancements in performance and connectivity for industrial IoT applications. This small but potent module, measuring only 25.4mm, can serve as a main system processor, network sub-processor, or an encrypted Serial to Ethernet server.

Dan Ciliske, an engineer at NetBurner, emphasized the module's simplicity and upgraded features, including an NXP i.MX RT1061 ARM Cortex M7 processor and expanded memory capabilities. The SOMRT1061 also provides dual Ethernet, USB, and 7 UARTs, offering vast application potential due to its versatile connectivity and compact design.

The SOMRT1061 and its Development Kit are currently obtainable directly from NetBurner via their website and sales department, designed to support developers from learning to deployment at an affordable price, thus promoting rapid and cost-efficient market entry.
