Network-1 Technologies, Inc., via its subsidiary HFT Solutions, LLC, has filed a patent lawsuit against Optiver US LLC and Optiver Trading US LLC. The case, lodged in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, cites infringement of three patents owned by Network-1. These patents, acquired by HFT Solutions in March 2022, are crucial for high-frequency trading technologies using field-programmable gate array (FPGA) hardware.

The portfolio includes eleven U.S. patents, with terms extending until 2040. It remains available for firms using FPGA systems for low-latency trading.
