Network-1's Subsidiary Secures New Patent for HFT Technologies
On October 8, 2024, Network-1 Technologies, Inc. announced that its subsidiary, HFT Solutions, LLC, has received a new U.S. patent. The patent, numbered 12,113,539, covers advanced technologies used in high frequency trading (HFT). These technologies focus on the use of custom field-programmable gate arrays (FPGA) that enhance transaction speed in trading systems.
This addition increases the HFT Patent Portfolio to 11 issued U.S. patents, with two additional patent applications pending. The portfolio's patents are expected to remain valid until 2040. HFT Solutions plans to expand its claims further, enhancing its foothold in the HFT technology market.
Network-1 engages in acquiring and licensing intellectual property. It continues to focus on building its patent portfolios, aiming for substantial licensing opportunities.
