New governance at CARMAT
CARMAT announces changes to its board of directors. Pierre Bastid is appointed president, replacing Alexandre Conroy who resigns for personal reasons. André Muller leaves his position as independent director, following his appointment as general manager of Idorsia.
Pierre Bastid is an experienced industrialist and director of CARMAT since 2018. He controls 13.5% of the capital via the entities LOHAS and Les Bastidons. These changes modify the composition of the board of directors, now led by Bastid with 10 members including 5 independent.
Pierre Bastid expresses his satisfaction at the idea of chairing, affirming their determination to accelerate the commercial development of CARMAT to help the many patients suffering from advanced biventricular heart failure.
