New York Life Investments and Candriam announced a strategic partnership with Andera Partners to enhance their private market offerings. New York Life Investments, managing $750 billion, will acquire a 40% stake in Andera, a European investment firm with €4.3 billion in assets under management. This collaboration is set to expand New York Life's $65 billion global alternatives portfolio.
Andera specializes in middle-market private equity, mezzanine debt, life sciences, and energy infrastructure. The partnership intends to leverage New York Life's extensive network to broaden their private capital strategies. Also, Candriam's involvement aligns with its innovative investment approach.
The deal requires regulatory approvals and aims to conclude by the first half of 2025. The terms remain undisclosed. This partnership marks a significant step for Andera in internationalizing its operations.
