New Use Energy Stands Out in DHS Clean Power for Hours Competition
Finalist of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Clean Power for Hours competition, New Use Energy (NUE), has recently showcased the advanced capabilities of its SunKit™ 5050 EXT. This solar + battery system, designed to function indefinitely off-grid, was presented during the latest demonstration organized by the Daisy Mountain Fire and Medical Citizen Corps (DMFMCC) in Arizona.
NUE's SunKit™ 5050 EXT proved to be crucial in powering the DMFMCC's mobile command center, operating without causing radio frequency interference, a notable issue with previously used gasoline generators. This feature significantly enhances communication in emergency situations.
The DMFM Community Emergency Response Team greatly benefits from the efficiency and reliability of NUE's solar system. Tailored to fit various demanding applications, the SunKit™ eliminates the logistical constraints of traditional generators. This system supports the DMFMCC volunteer team in their educational and disaster preparedness mission within the community.
