Nexans has won a €600 million, seven-year contract with Enedis to modernize the medium-voltage grid in France. This contract includes the supply of cables for the grid, the connection of electric vehicle charging stations, and the connection to renewable energy parks.

The cables, primarily produced in Bourg-en-Bresse and supplemented by a site in Italy, support Enedis' strategy to strengthen the French electricity grid. Thanks to a €15 million investment, Nexans will increase production of low-carbon cables, emphasizing the use of recycled materials.

This contract is part of an ongoing partnership with Enedis, strengthening Nexans' position in the French electrification market.
