NFON AG Reports Strong Q2 Performance and Strategic AI Acquisition
NFON AG has released its Q2/H1 report, highlighting significantly improved profitability and growth. The company's Q2 sales increased by 4.4% to €21.3 million, bolstered by a growing seat base of 665,000 and upselling of premium solutions. This resulted in an enhanced blended average revenue per user (ARPU) of €9.87.
The standout performance was in recurring revenues, which grew by 6% year-on-year to €20.2 million, constituting 94.9% of total revenue. Adjusted EBITDA saw a significant uplift, rising 88% year-on-year to €2.7 million, supported by an improved gross margin of 84.9% and efficiency gains.
In addition, NFON AG announced the acquisition of botario GmbH, an AI specialist in business communications. This acquisition is expected to enhance NFON's contact center offerings and yield meaningful synergies. The acquisition is projected to foster 40% annual sales growth for botario.
Management reiterated its full-year guidance, aiming for mid- to upper-single-digit percentage growth in recurring sales and adjusted EBITDA of €10-12 million. The strategic integration of botario and Deutsche Telefon Standard is set to unlock further optimization potential.
