Nordea announces the cancellation of its repurchased shares

Nordea Bank Abp today confirmed the cancellation of 15,912,565 shares from its own portfolio, a measure approved by its board of directors. This operation is part of the bank's capital optimization strategy, involving the repurchase of these shares.

Following this cancellation, the total number of Nordea shares now stands at 3,505,587,395, each with one voting right. The cancellation was officially registered with the Finnish Commercial Register on February 29, 2024.
