Nordex Group Announces Robust Order Intake of 3.4 GW in the First Half of 2024
The Nordex Group reported a significant increase in order intake for the first half of 2024. The total order intake reached 3,357 MW, marking a 27% year-on-year growth compared to 2,641 MW in the first half of 2023. This robust performance underscores the company's strong position in the wind turbine market.
The average sales price per megawatt of capacity (ASP) remained stable at EUR 0.89 million per MW. This stability in pricing is a positive indicator for the company's revenue projections moving forward.
Between January and June 2024, Nordex secured orders for 602 wind turbines across 17 countries. Germany, South Africa, Lithuania, and Turkey emerged as the strongest individual markets. CEO José Luis Blanco expressed satisfaction with the company's performance and highlighted the demand for N163 turbines as a positive sign for future order intake.
