Nordex Group Secures 42 MW Wind Farm Order in Lithuania

Hamburg, 11 July 2024. Nordex Group has signed a contract with E energija group to supply and install six N163/6.X wind turbines for a 42 MW wind farm near Kaunas, Lithuania. The agreement includes a 35-year Premium-Plus maintenance service.

Delivery and installation of the Delta4000 series turbines will begin in the second half of 2025, with commissioning scheduled for the same year. The site features average wind speeds exceeding 7 m/s, making it suitable for the six 7 MW turbines.

Since 2015, Nordex has sold over 950 MW of turbines in Lithuania. "Our partnership with E energija group has been significant since 2023, resulting in orders totalling 346 MW," said Patxi Landa, CSO of Nordex.
