Nordex Group Sees 4% Growth in Order Intake, Reaches 5.1 GW by Q3 2024
In the first nine months of 2024, Nordex Group reported an order intake of 5,083 MW, marking a 4% increase compared to the 4,892 MW recorded in the same period last year. This uptick was significantly influenced by orders from Germany, the Baltic States, and Canada.
The company secured 1,726 MW in the third quarter alone, reflecting robust growth. The average sales price per megawatt of capacity remained stable at EUR 0.90 million, with a notable increase to EUR 0.92 million in Q3 2024, compared to EUR 0.79 million in the previous year.
Between January and September 2024, Nordex received orders for 905 wind turbines across 23 countries, with Germany and Canada leading in demand. CEO José Luis Blanco highlighted the third quarter's sequential growth, expressing optimism for continued momentum into Q4 2024.
