Norrland Moves to the Next Phase at Vittanträsket: Sub-Surface Exploratory Drilling

VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / June 3, 2024 / Norrland Gold Corporation ("Norrland" or "the Company", TSXV:NORR, Frankfurt Exchange:8VC) has announced its next steps at Vittanträsket following a promising magnetic survey. The survey identified an anomaly that may indicate the presence of pyrrhotite, suggesting potential orogenic gold mineralization.

Environmental permitting has advanced, allowing for shallow exploratory drilling beneath the glacial moraine cover. The Vittanträsket tenement, located in a Tier 1 mining jurisdiction, exhibits one of the most significant gold-soil geochemical anomalies in Sweden.

A notable magnetic anomaly overlaps with gold-in moraine samples from regional surveys by the Swedish Geological Survey. This region's moraine, left by glaciation roughly 10,000 years ago, remains largely unexplored, providing potential for new discoveries.

Norrland will initiate a shallow sub-surface drilling program using track-mounted equipment along a logging road. Initial drill holes will target bedrock to analyze geological structures, with an option for additional drilling based on results.

Anders West, CEO, stated, "The identified anomalies validate our acquisition of Vittanträsket and hint at a significant gold discovery under moraine cover. This drilling program will help us understand the geological structures and guide future exploration."
