North Shore Uranium Ltd prepares its drilling program at the Falcon site in Saskatchewan
North Shore Uranium Ltd has announced the imminent launch of its drilling program on the 55,699 hectare Falcon property on the eastern edge of the Athabasca Basin in northern Saskatchewan. This start-up is planned for mid-March, following a requalification of the targeting criteria based on reinterpreted electromagnetic and geophysical data from 2022. The Falcon property, characterized by high potential in little-explored uranium, is located in a region currently marked by increasing exploratory activity.
Three targets will be tested along an electromagnetic conductive system, oriented mainly to the northeast, in the south of the property. The precise locations for drilling the three main candidates are being finalized. TerraLogic Exploration Inc. will oversee the drilling program, with support from Condor North Consulting ULC for geophysical interpretation. More than 20 potential drilling targets have been identified.
President and CEO Brooke Clements expressed enthusiasm for this first drilling program targeting priority targets on Falcon. With increased attention on the uranium exploration sector, driven by a stable uranium spot price around US$100/lb since January, the company aims to become a major player in uranium exploration. uranium at the eastern margin of the Athabasca Basin.
