Northern Dynasty Reports Annual General Meeting Results
Northern Dynasty Minerals Ltd., based in Vancouver, BC, announced the results of its 2024 Annual Meeting of Shareholders held on June 27. The meeting witnessed the voting of 242,392,823 common shares, accounting for 45.08% of the total outstanding shares.
All eight nominated directors were elected. Christian Milau received the highest percentage of votes in favor, at 97.05%, followed by Wayne Kirk and Siri C. Genik. Deloitte was appointed as the auditor for the company, with 87.12% of votes supporting the decision.
Two resolutions related to share plans were also approved. The Deferred Share Unit Plan and the Restricted Share Unit Plan were each authorized for continuation until 2027. However, the Share Option Plan did not pass, receiving only 48.20% approval from disinterested shareholders.
