Novem Group S.A.: Changes in Management Board
On August 1, 2024, Novem Group S.A. announced significant changes in its Management Board. Dr. Johannes Burtscher will step down as CFO on September 30, 2024. He will be succeeded by Benjamin Retzer, currently Vice President Accounting and Tax.
In addition, Florian Sandner has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). These changes, effective October 1, 2024, aim to realign board competences to support the company's strategic direction.
Dr. Stephan Kessel, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, thanked Dr. Burtscher for his twelve years of service. CEO Markus Wittmann expressed confidence in the two new appointees' ability to drive future success.
Both Retzer and Sandner bring significant experience. Retzer has been with Novem since 2014, while Sandner has held key management roles since 2011.
