NUE Showcases Sustainable Power Solutions at USDA Technology & Development Center
New Use Energy (NUE) participated in the USDA/Forest Service "Industry Days" at the USDA Technology & Development Center in San Dimas, CA. The event focused on "Portable Power in Fire Camps - Low Carbon Alternatives" and aimed to evaluate alternative energy sources to replace fossil fuel generators in fire camps.
NUE demonstrated its SunKit™ 5050 EXT and SunCase™ 3651, highlighting their efficiency even in overcast conditions. By noon, the SunKit™ finished the demonstration with more battery capacity than it started with, despite powering various appliances. These products can also be recharged from gas generators, reducing carbon emissions by up to 80%.
COO Lee Feliciano emphasized NUE's heritage in disaster relief and their recognition in the DHS's Clean Power for Hours competition, asserting NUE's position as a leader in clean energy solutions. The San Dimas Project Team's insights on real-world applications of these solar+battery generators were greatly appreciated.
