Nuvau Minerals Begins Trading on TSXV with Ambitious Goals
Nuvau Minerals Inc. has announced that it has started trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol NMC. The company aims to revive the Matagami mining district as a critical minerals producer. Located in Ontario, Nuvau's strategy focuses on exploring and leveraging existing mineral deposits.
Nuvau's President and CEO, Peter van Alphen, expressed excitement about becoming a public company. The company plans to complete its earn-in agreement with Glencore for full ownership of the Matagami mining camp and focus on exploration and production restart.
The Matagami Property, known for its mineral production, is situated in the northern Abitibi greenstone belt and spans over 1,300 km2. It houses multiple deposits with potential for new discoveries. The company is actively drilling at the McLeod Extension and Renaissance sites to define further resources.
The property features a 3,000 tonne per day processing facility and undeveloped resources, enhancing access to existing infrastructure. Nuvau's growth strategy involves exploiting these advantages to increase resource bases.
Additionally, Nuvau has strengthened its board with the appointment of Christina McCarthy as Chair.
