OFS Portal Names Mimi Stansbury CEO

OFS Portal, LLC announced Mimi Stansbury's appointment as CEO, effective March 1, 2024, in Houston, TX. Stansbury takes over from Chris Welsh, who led the company to global prominence, expanding its oil & gas operator community from 200 to over 600 members during his tenure. Welsh, celebrating the transition, underscored the importance of evolving to support new energy sources and business partners through digital integration, praising Stansbury's role in developing digital solutions for the supply chain.

Marvin Jones, a board member of OFS Portal, highlighted Stansbury’s significant contributions and her potential to advance the company further. Stansbury herself expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead and emphasized the critical phase OFS Portal is in, focusing on data protection and cross-industry e-commerce efficiency amidst the energy transition. Before her new role, Stansbury had a successful career as a CPA and CFP®, joining OFS Portal in December 2015, and has held significant positions including the Senior VP of Finance and Administration.

Stansbury’s education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and a law degree from the University of Houston Law Center. Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, Stansbury resides in Houston and is noted for her international travels across Europe and Asia.
