Omega Pacific Announces Extended Gold Mineralization at Williams Property
Omega Pacific Resources Inc. has reported promising assay results from its 2024 drilling campaign at the Williams Property in British Columbia. The company successfully extended the mineralization of drill hole WM22-02, achieving a combined interval of 2.16 g/t Au over 96.92 meters. This marks a significant extension from the initial 2.2 g/t Au over 50 meters previously reported in 2022.
The results underscore a robust mineralization at the Golden Horseshoe location, with significant findings in other drill holes. Notably, drill WM24-01 recorded 6.22 g/t Au over 18.98 meters, while WM24-02 showed multiple gold intervals. The data indicates three distinct gold zones and suggests significant resource potential.
The ongoing success has encouraged Omega Pacific to further explore this asset, with plans to initiate Phase 2 in the coming winter. CEO Jason Leikam highlighted the project's bulk tonnage potential and the continuity of gold grade. The company emphasizes strict QA/QC measures to ensure reliable results.
