Omega Pacific Intersects 6.22 g/t Gold over 18.98 metres at Williams Property
Vancouver, BC - Omega Pacific Resources Inc. (CSE:OMGA)(OTCQB:OMGPF)(FSE:Q0F) announced promising initial drill results from its 2024 program at the Williams Property in British Columbia. Drill hole WM24-01 intersected 6.22 g/t gold over 18.98 metres, including 3.16 g/t gold over 44.32 metres, and 1.69 g/t gold over 104.08 metres.
The CEO, Jason Leikam, expressed satisfaction with the first-phase results, highlighting the potential for both high-grade and bulk-tonnage gold mineralization. Leikam noted that these results affirm the efficacy of their targeted drilling strategy and set a positive outlook for future assays.
Located in the Golden Horseshoe, the GIC Prospect features a significant target zone characterized by gold-copper rock and soil anomalies. Historical drilling in this area amounted to approximately 2,300 metres. Phase 1 of the 2024 program aimed to extend historical results, successfully deepening and improving mineralization understanding.
The highest-grade gold mineralization in WM24-01 was found in a black basaltic unit, with gold continuing into adjacent volcanic rocks, indicating a large hydrothermal system. The thickness of mineralized layers reaches over 300 metres, suggesting extensive exploration potential.
Omega Pacific's summer 2024 drill program aims to cover 2,000 metres at the GIC Prospect. Further results will be reported as assays are received. Additionally, Omega has engaged Machai Capital Inc. to provide digital marketing services to enhance their outreach and visibility.
