OPPO Launches Air Glass 3 at MWC 2024, Introducing Advanced AI and XR Technologies

OPPO introduced its OPPO Air Glass 3 prototype at the MWC 2024, showcasing a leap forward in AI and XR technology. The device integrates OPPO's AndesGPT to provide users with an evolved AI experience through a smartphone app. This development aligns with the establishment of the OPPO AI Center and the release of the OPPO AI Smartphone White Paper, indicating a significant shift towards AI-centric smartphones.

In collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies and AlpsenTek, OPPO announced new AI Motion technology based on Hybrid Vision Sensing, enhancing clarity in mobile videography. The company is also partnering with notable industry leaders like Google, Qualcomm Technologies, MediaTek, and Microsoft to extend technological capabilities, such as connecting Oppo smartphones with Microsoft Copilot.

The OPPO Air Glass 3 is distinguished by its lightweight design, weighing just 50 grams, and features such as a high-refractive waveguide and superior display brightness, aiming to provide a seamless augmented reality experience. It also introduces interactive touch controls and employs reverse sound field technology for improved audio quality and privacy.

Further emphasizing OPPO's commitment to AI, the company disclosed plans to incorporate generative AI features across its product range, including the upcoming OPPO Reno11 Series and the OPPO Find N3, along with a broader adoption across global markets. OPPO’s portfolio of over 3,160 AI-related patents underlines its commitment to leading AI innovations.
