Orange raises 1.5 billion euros in bonds, including 750 million in sustainable format
On May 12, 2025, Orange announced a €1.5 billion bond offering. This transaction is divided into two separate tranches. The first, worth €750 million and maturing in four years, offers an annual coupon of 2.75%. The second, also worth €750 million, is issued in a sustainable format over 10 years, with a coupon of 3.50%.
Orange plans to allocate 50% of the funds from this sustainable tranche to environmental projects focused on energy efficiency. The remaining 50% will finance societal projects, particularly the deployment of fiber optics in areas at risk of exclusion. These projects are part of Orange's "Lead the Future" strategic plan, updated in November 2024.
