Ordissimo 2023 annual results: a difficult year

Ordissimo, known for its technological solutions intended for seniors, published a disappointing financial report for the year 2023, with a turnover falling by 75% compared to the previous year, standing at €2,925 thousand . This decline is mainly attributable to the slowdown in Pix-Star's activity in the United States and to a still cautious European market.

In Europe, the 12.38% drop in Ordissimo's turnover is explained by a notable decrease in sales in France, both at the retail and individual levels. The services segment, however, recorded growth of 12.08%, reflecting sustained demand for support and maintenance.

Pix-Star suffered a significant decline in the number of units sold in the United States, from 41K to 22K, due to pricing pressures in the digital photo frame segment. To counter this trend, Ordissimo has optimized its logistics costs and reviewed its marketing positioning.

Despite these adjustments, Ordissimo recorded a negative EBITDA of €311,926 for 2023, compared to a profit of €595,947 in 2022. The net result also deteriorated, showing a loss of €856,101. However, the company expects a rebound in 2024 thanks to the continued integration of Pix-Star and continued cost reduction.
