Organto Provides Bi-Weekly Update on Filing of Annual Financial Statements

VANCOUVER, BC AND BREDA, NETHERLANDS / ACCESSWIRE / June 12, 2024 / Organto Foods Inc. (TSXV:OGO)(OTCQB:OGOFF), a leading provider of organic and non-GMO fruit and vegetable products, has issued an update regarding its management cease trade order (MCTO) related to the delayed filing of the company's annual financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023.

The British Columbia Securities Commission granted the MCTO on May 1, 2024, under National Policy 12-203. This restricts the Co-CEOs and CFO from trading Organto securities until the filings are complete. The company expects to finalize these filings by June 28, 2024. Shareholders are unaffected by the MCTO and can continue trading freely.

Additionally, Rients van der Wal has resigned as Director and Co-CEO to pursue other opportunities. Despite his departure, he will adhere to the MCTO's terms until it is revoked. Organto's Board and management are working to ensure that all required filings are completed promptly.
